Brighid Nora is a singer-songwriter from Staten Island, New York, whose music is inspired by the spirit of the Wild West.

From a young age, Brighid had a passion for music and storytelling. She has been writing songs at her piano for most of her life, and in 2022, she decided to pursue songwriting professionally. In September of that year, she released her first song “No Ride or Die,” a rock ballad in which she likens the ending of her own romantic relationship to Bonnie leaving Clyde, and choosing herself. The other five songs on her debut EP West build upon this narrative- through the EP, she writes herself out of the damsel in distress archetype, and becomes a sharp shooting, smart talking cowboy. Drawing on her own experiences and emotions, Brighid's music is a powerful blend of country, rock, and pop influences. She hopes her lyrics move and inspire people to reconnect with their own strength.

Brighid’s foremost passion is songwriting. She studied creative writing at the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College, and graduated with honors in 2020. But in her time as a musical artist, she’s discovered that she has a love of photography, video production and design. Most recently, she co-directed her music video for “No Ride or Die,” and among her current passion projects, she counts the creation of this website.
